Program highlights

The Plumbing and Gas program informs the learner about different components of a central heating and domestic hot water system and takes them through the whole process from planning & design, installation, testing, commissioning and fault finding.

The immersive virtual scenarios gives the learner the opportunity to carry out planning and preparing the installation of pipework, install an unvented hot water cylinder, commissioning a boiler and diagnosing faults within a central heating system.

Learners are able to walk through each environment, choosing options and answering questions along the way which will help them to practise their knowledge and skills. This online environment provides a safe, realistic place to test their knowledge, make mistakes without real life consequences and boost their skills attainment.
