Program highlights

The bricklaying program takes learners through several stages of bricklaying from materials to building above and below ground level.

Using an online, immersive environment, learners are able to practise their skills and test their knowledge.

Learning is also brought to life through the use of augmented reality. Learners can take on scenarios that they might not normally be able to experience in the traditional classroom environment so that they are more prepared for the workplace.

Learning outcomes

By completing this program, it is expected that learners will:

  • Have a greater understanding of principles and concepts.
  • Understand their position within the construction industry.
  • Know how to ‘climb the ladder’ within the industry.
  • Have increased confidence when working with equipment.
