Creating industry ready experiences for Advanced Manufacturing learners

Discover how Metaverse Learning is supporting Advanced Manufacturing education and training with a growing library of immersive learning programs and sector attraction hubs designed around real industry environments, practical skills and learner engagement.

Advanced Manufacturing is changing quickly. Automation, robotics, precision engineering and smart factory technologies are reshaping the skills employers need and the environments learners are expected to work within. For colleges and training providers, keeping pace with that change can be challenging, particularly when specialist equipment, facilities and health and safety requirements create barriers to access.

Metaverse Learning helps bridge that gap through immersive Virtual Reality (VR) and Virtual Environment (VE) programs that place learners inside realistic manufacturing scenarios where they can safely practise, explore and build confidence.

All of these scenarios are aligned with TEC programme objectives.

Immersive learning built around real industry skills

Every scenario is designed to feel practical, relevant and familiar to the learner experience. Rather than simply reading about processes, learners complete tasks inside realistic manufacturing environments, developing understanding through repetition and interaction.

Our current library of programs, which are ready to deploy immediately, includes Advanced Manufacturing, Welding and Fabrication and Electrical Engineering. These programs have been developed alongside Further Education colleges and industry specialists, with scenarios that include robotics, CNC machining, welding, electrical engineering and condition monitoring.

Where providers need specialist content aligned to local employer demand or regional priorities, Metaverse Learning can also co-create bespoke immersive scenarios with colleges, training providers and industry partners.

Creating clearer pathways into Advanced Manufacturing careers

Immersive learning can play an important role beyond technical training alone. Alongside the learning library, Metaverse Learning also offers browser-based virtual hubs designed to support attraction, engagement and progression into Advanced Manufacturing careers.

These shared virtual spaces allow learners to explore sectors, engage with employers, access careers information and better understand progression opportunities across manufacturing and engineering industries. AI avatar advisers, employer spaces, videos, downloadable resources and career pathway information help learners connect classroom learning with future opportunities in a way that feels accessible and engaging.

Built for collaborative regional delivery models, the hubs can support multiple colleges and providers through one connected environment, helping organisations create consistent learner experiences while strengthening employer engagement and sector visibility across their network.
